I am SO excited to share with you a little bit about how I've been giving back to my community through a program called, Lasagna Love. I registered as a volunteer not too long ago & it has been the most rewarding journey so far. I love being able to deliver a little bit of love, kindness & hope through baking lasagnas for families in my community during their time of need.
If you'd like to get involved & register as a lasagna chef in your area, click here. It is a simple process to register & a little bit of training & you typically get matched with a family fairly quickly. You can choose how often you'd like to bake (weekly, biweekly, monthly) & you can also choose how many families you'd like to bake for each week. I always like to add in a little something extra like rolls; however, it is not required nor is it expected from the families you are matched with.
If you or a friend need a hand with dinner one night- no matter the reason or need- let a neighbor deliver a home-cooked lasagna one evening. You can click here to request a Lasagna Love dinner. You can request one for yourself or you can request on behalf of someone.
Lasagna Love has delivered over 150K lasagnas in 3 countries with over 25K volunteers delivering love throughout their community. Cooking is my love language & I absolutely enjoy each family that I get to bring a bit of joy to in their time of need. Cheers friend!
