Moody Cottage Kitchen Cabinets
Share
A few months ago, I decided I wanted to paint our all white kitchen cabinets. While the all white is beautiful, I wanted a change that was a bit more moody & gave off more of a European cottage vibe. I decided to paint the top kitchen cabinets Bedford by Fusion Mineral. I absolutely loved it but I kept the bottom cabinets white & I was ready for something a bit more my style.
I finally decided on the color Everett by Fusion Mineral. It is a dark olive green color- it pairs beautifully with the color Bedford- the two compliment each other amazing.
I love using Fusion Mineral paint for our cabinets & doors because the paint is matte, it's easy to clean & it's super easy to touch up. A little bit of this paint goes a long way.
The pantry door & pantry trim in our kitchen is the color Putty by Fusion Mineral. All three of these colors paired with our white walls, look amazing. I love the warmth yet still brightness it brings. Here's a blog post I did last fall when I painted our top cabinets.
These are the paint colors used in our kitchen:
- Top cabinets: Bedford by Fusion Mineral Paint
- Bottom cabinets: Everett by Fusion Mineral Paint
- Walls: Alabaster by Sherwin Williams (Also in a satin finish)
- Pantry door: Putty by Fusion Mineral Paint

To me a cozy cottage kitchen is all about a natural & earthy collected look. I do have plans for our countertops that hopefully we can get done this year that will really elevate this space & give it that earthy European cottage vibe that I so deeply love.
