Cottage Farmhouse Christmas at Nickels Creek

Cottage Farmhouse Christmas at Nickels Creek

Decorating the Christmas tree is always one of my favorite things to do during the holiday season- I usually spread it out over a few days so I can fully soak it all in & enjoy each ornament as I place it on the tree. I have a lot of vintage ornaments that I've collected over the years & each one holds a special place in my heart with lots of memories of how I found them & came across them.

From vintage Santa's, to vintage crystal icicles to vintage finial ornaments- these are just a few of the types I've collected over the years. I still haven't been on the search for ornaments to add to my vintage collection this year but I can't wait to see what I stumble across while out at local antique shops. I also love the timeless look of adding a simple garland around the tree- it can be anything that fits your decorating style- garlands are just so beautiful on a tree & truly make a statement.

I also love adding battery operated mini candle lights- those are just at the top of the list when it comes to a vintage inspired Christmas tree. I'll link some of my favorite ornaments, garland & candle stick lights (here) for you to browse for your own tree.

I just love how the greenery looks with the tree this year- I love the simplicity of Christmas in our home this year. It's so cozy & just brings my heart so much joy this holiday season. You can find the greenery I used (here). This greenery is amazing- it is so close to the real thing, it's beautiful & the quality is top notch- highly highly recommend. I've had it for two years now & each year I'm always amazed at the quality when I bring it out to decorate.

And can we take a moment to appreciate that cozy Christmas evening glow. There's literally nothing that beats that this time of year.

I hope my tree this year has inspired you in some way in your holiday decorating. Thank you so much for being a friend! Merry Christmas!
